Governor Sarah Palin Republican Vice Presidential Nominee
Today, many Alaskans were stunned to hear the announcement that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was just nominated to be the Republican Vice Presidential Nominee and John McCain’s running mate!
Listening to the Rick Riddell radio program around 5:45 am, he had let everyone know that she was in the news as a potential VP choice. He said the Governor was out the state going to an event in a different state from the Republican convention. He joked with his side kick Ortega that Ortega was more qualified to be Vice President than the Governor.
Let’s just say that Alaska probably hit the Richter scale not for earthquakes today, but because all of Alaska just fell off their chairs!
A friend called me as soon as she heard to to see if I knew. She and I usually sit on different sides of the aisle, politically. We both agreed no one is more surprised about this news that the citizens of Alaska!
